Ok, so this is the company I was talking about in my last post. HYPERICE. I’m starting to do PR and Marketing for them and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s an ice compression wrap company and before even launching in retail, several top pro athletes in different sports are using it and endorsing it. (LeBron, Kobe, and more name-droppy-ish people). Hyperice’s main endorsers are Blake Griffin, Troy Polamalu, Rudy Gay and Hope Solo but what’s even more remarkable is that instead of Hyperice shelling out major cash for these superstars, the athletes chose to invest in the company and become equity partners. They probably all watched that “30 for 30: Broke” special on TV and didn’t want to end up like many other pro athletes who file for bankruptcy. Regardless of the reason behind their decision, it was a smart one, and at the right time. And, It’s always great to see athletes finding strategic ways to invest their money instead of poppin’ bottles at clubs and making it rain.
Not to mention, Hyperice is on the verge of a major breakthrough in sales and exposure. Of course it helps having guys like Blake and Troy representing the brand, but this product sells itself. It’s the best in the game for recovery and rehabilitation, period, and I’m not just saying that because I make a .5 second cameo in the commercial below (If you blink you might miss me).

Cool product, definitely could sell itself! Nice cameo. It looks like they’ll avoid their 30 for 30 Broke cameo!
